The residency

Art as a form of knowledge, shared with society

Every August, during the Feria de las Flores, the silleteros of Medellín descend from the mountains carrying flower arrangements that can weigh as much as a grown man: portraits and whole histories assembled petal by petal and placed before the city as an offering.

From the murals climbing the comunas to the magical realism of García Márquez, Colombia has long treated the impossible and the everyday as equally real. Adversity has never extinguished its creative force; it only redirected it.

Emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence hold extraordinary possibility, yet for most communities they remain abstract and out of reach. Primavera Eterna tests what it means for a community not only to use these tools, but to shape, through art, how it understands itself.
